After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biochemistry, Wayne attended the Simon Fraser University School of Business. He received his CA designation after articling at Deloitte & Touche. Following his graduation as a CA, attended the CICA in-depth Taxation course, a two-year post CA program. He also spent four years at Hay and Watson, Chartered Accountants gaining experience in both the small to medium size business area and in early stage high tech companies. This led Wayne to establish his own CA firm where he spent over 12 years building and running one of the largest CA firms in North Vancouver. His background resulted in a firm with a strong focus on consulting in the high tech and other industries, with special emphasis on creative business advice and tax planning. During the last ten years Wayne has played an instrumental role in advising High Tech companies through to their listing on the TSX Venture Exchange. This period saw Wayne provide guidance to several firms from inception stage through early venture capital financing to the establishment of the company as a publicly listed company. During this period he assisted with the businesses development in all aspects, including numerous creative financings. Wayne offers sound financial guidance to his clients.
